1985 - Milton H. Greene, world re-knowned fashion photographer, dies believing that over 180,000 images of his 300,000 image collection had disintegrated and faded ... never to be printed in any form ever again.

1993 - Joshua Greene, Milton's eldest son, gives up a lucrative career in lifestyle photography and moves to Florence, Oregon, USA. Joshua begins work to digitally restore his fathers vast collection. Joshua painstakingly restores 4 images from his fathers collection on a 100mhz Apple Computer.

1994 - The Milton H. Greene Archives, Inc. is incorporated by Joshua Greene in honor of his fathers vast body of work. Restoration on the Milton H. Greene Collection moves full speed ahead.

1995 - "Milton's Marilyn" is published featuring many of the restored images to date. The book is released by Schirmer Mosel Art Books in Europe and is an astounding success.

1996 - The Archives licenses Marilyn Merlot Wine to use newly restored images of Marilyn Monroe on their labels. Licensing agreements abound. "Milton's Marilyn" is released in the United States by Moss Runn Publishing.

1997 - Restoration of the Milton H. Greene Collection continues. The Archives licenses images to Vanity Fair, Life, Entertainment Weekly, People, New Yorker, Playboy, American Photographer, A & E, Biography Magazine, Newsweek, TV Guide, and Time magazine - to name a few.

1998 - "For The Love Of Marilyn" 1999 calender is published. The Archives licenses images to Us Magazine, In Style, Vogue, Premiere, B/W Magazine, Los Angeles Times, NY Times, Sydney Herald, Melbourne Age, NY Post magazine - as well as network television ABC: 20/20, Entertainment Tonight, ABC News, E Channel, and CBS.

1999 - "For The Love Of Marilyn" 2000 calender is published. "Portraits of an Era" 2000 calender is published. The Archives partners with Hewlett-Packard beta testing their newest high end Inkjet printers with UV inks. The ink/paper/printer combination is rated to last over 200 years.

2000 - 375 images restored. Restoration of the Milton H. Greene Collection continues.

2001 - Hewlett Packard, Hahnemuhle and Adobe partner with The Archives to produce the first exhibition of the newly restored works of Milton H. Greene. The exhibition entitled "Portraits of an Era", unveiled 28 images of various well known personalities and 33 images of Marilyn Monroe. These Limited Edition prints are available through exhibitions around the world and are currently showing at the Benham Gallery in Seattle, the Govinda Gallery in Washington DC and the Photographers Gallery in London. The next stop is Australia, which is scheduled for the fall of 2002.

2002 - The Archives begins to actively provides restoration services to consumers. The World Wide Web begins to play a renewed roll in their mass marketing strategy. The "Portraits of an Era" exhibition travels to Australia in the fall. Over 400 images from the Milton H Greene Collection have been restored to date.
